Are you soon to set out on a pilgrimage to the most sacred places in Islam? If so, you may have considered using the most popular route, which is going through a travel agency, to get the necessary visa.
Packages for the pilgrimage, however, can occasionally be very expensive. Umrah packages typically begin at Dh3,000, but according to a travel agent, prices increase by over 25% during specific times of the year, such as the first 20 days of Ramadan.
Thus, there are two methods you can apply for an Umrah visa on your own:

Use the website

Select the ‘Services for guests’ tab located at the bottom left of the screen.
The ‘Haj and Umrah eVisa Application Form’ section should be visible once you are redirected to the following website. Select ‘Apply’ from the menu.
‘Submit a new application’ will be clicked. After that, you’ll be taken to a new page.
You can fill out the details and establish a new account once you are on the eVisa application page. After that, you can submit your application.
Once you have completed all four application processes, you can mail your file to the embassy, and they will handle obtaining your visa.

Use Nusuk app

You can apply for your Umrah eVisa through the Nusuk app by following the procedures below, which will make it easier for you to access your visa and other items:

Download the app and create an account.
‘Performing Umrah, Your Journey Awaits’ should be a section on the app’s home screen. Click the ‘Apply’ button underneath this.
On this page, choose the Umrah package that best suits your needs.
Enter the details of every pilgrim who is traveling. Nine individuals maximum can be added per booking. You will also need to know their health state and whether they need a wheelchair, in addition to their personal information.
After then, a website will load and you’ll need to select the dates of your pilgrimage. Choose the dates you want to use from the calendar that is on the screen.
Select the time when you want to undertake the Umrah. You are only able to choose one three-hour time period per day for your pilgrimage.
Read the terms and conditions and sign off on them. You will then need to go over the information you already provided. Your application has been filed once you complete this and provide the necessary information, and you will shortly receive your permit!
