Masjid-e-Ayesha
- The Masjid e Aisha, commonly known as the Taneem Mosque, is one of the places to see in Mecca. This mosque, known as Masjid e Aisha in honour of the Prophet Muhammad’s wife Aisha, is a popular place for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to carry out their religious duties. - On the road to Madinah, the masjid is located 7.5 kilometres south of Makkah.
- The Prophet authorised Aisha to become Ihram in this location after discovering that his wife is having a period so she may finish her Umrah tour. Abdur-Rahman, her brother, helped her get to Taneem and back, but he did not conduct another Umrah with his sister because Aisha and other women in the same state were given special permission to do so.
- The Prophet gave her the go-ahead to perform Hajj and all other pilgrimage rituals and duties with the exception of Tawaf. She adhered to the guidelines and only finished Tawaf after her menstrual cycle had ended.
